Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Effective August 3, 2026. How billing, cancellations, and refunds work for ReportGenie's paid plans.
1. Overview
This policy covers subscription billing, cancellations, and refunds for ReportGenie's Starter and Pro plans. ReportGenie is owned and operated by Abdul Hadi, of 527 H Block Sabzazar Scheme, Lahore, Pakistan. Paddle, our merchant of record, handles the actual payment processing — refund requests are ultimately fulfilled through Paddle, as described below.
2. Free plan
Free plans are, as the name suggests, free — there's no charge, no card required, and nothing to cancel. Free-tier usage limits are shown in your dashboard.
3. Subscription billing & auto-renewal
Paid plans (currently Starter and Pro on ReportGenie) are billed monthly and renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You'll be charged the then-current price for your plan at each renewal; we'll take reasonable steps to notify you in advance of any price change that affects your next renewal.
4. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account's billing settings. Cancelling takes effect immediately: billing stops, and your account moves to the Free plan right away rather than at the end of the current billing period. Nothing you've already created is deleted or affected by cancelling.
If your plan is billed through Paddle, you can also manage or cancel it using the "Manage subscription" link included in your Paddle payment receipt email.
5. Refund eligibility
If you're not happy with a paid plan, you can request a refund within 14 days of being charged. We consider refund requests in good faith and don't apply unreasonable conditions — this isn't a "no refunds, all sales final" policy. Refunds outside the 14-day window, or for renewal charges you didn't intend to let happen, are considered on a case-by-case basis — reach out and we'll take a look.
6. How to request a refund
Because Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase, refund requests are handled through Paddle:
- Use the "Manage subscription" or receipt link in your Paddle payment confirmation email, or visit paddle.net; or
- Contact us directly at hello@websgrow.com with your account email and the plan you were charged for, and we'll help coordinate the refund with Paddle on your behalf.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and may take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails (for example, an expired card), we may retry the charge and will let you know by email. If payment continues to fail, your account may be moved to the Free plan until billing is resolved — you won't lose your saved reports, clients, or settings.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at hello@websgrow.com — most issues can be resolved quickly and directly. Filing a chargeback without reaching out first can delay resolution and may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
9. Contact us
